Saturday Night Live's Season Premiere Will Feature Adam Driver As Host And Kanye West As Musical Guest

On September 29th, Saturday Night Live returns for its FORTY-FOURTH season, and will feature Adam Driver (‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’, ‘BlacKkKlansman’) returning as the show’s host alongside musical guest Kanye West. I know SNL is far from what it used to be, even in recent history, but Adam Driver’s first episode as host was a rousing success featuring one of the funniest skits in years – featuring Adam as Kylo Ren going “undercover” on Starkiller Base as part of an “Undercover Boss” episode.

Now, throw in the possibility that Kanye could now be apart of that – or literally anything Star Wars related while he’s in his current state of mind (which I will not call erratic or disturbing to please Kim K) almost makes this a must-watch. Almost anything Kanye does at this point is, you see the PornHub Awards?

Electric.

Hopefully there’s something on the ridiculous backlash ‘The Last Jedi’ faced that actors like Adam unfortunately had to put up with from booger-eating neckbeards who didn’t get their way (not Clem, Clem just hasn’t seen the light yet), and above that all, you’ve gotta wonder…

…with Pete Davidson still listed as a regular member of the cast, will there be a “Butthole Eyes” joke? I say yes. I think they’re coming into this season guns blazing, as they should. SNL shouldn’t stink as much as it has in the current climate and state of the world. It should be thriving, doing better than it has in ages, and I’m rooting for that to happen.

Give the people what they want: Kanye in a Star Wars skit, and a butthole eyes joke.
